Ancient healer: fire cider
Meet the holistic, whole-body feel good, immune-boosting elixir, Fire Cider.
Fire Cider is a staple in my daily routine, and for GOOD reason. I self-medicated myself with this ancient elixir since my first sip. If you’re asking yourself, what the hell is this fire sh*t?! Prepare to be enlightened. This spicy and vinegar-y tonic always heals me from the inside out and helps nix any of those nasty under-the-weather type of feels I have.
It’s 100% easy and 100% worth making your own batch of Fire Cider. The hardest part? Waiting for it to marinate for ONE whole month. I love the process of peeling, chopping and tearing up with these beautiful roots and peppers, only to be nourished right back by them.
